About Me

My photo
Bridget Bucknall
Graphic Designer/Art Director turned Floral Designer happily discovered the canvas!! I have a passion for painting and continue to play with color, light and form evolving my impressionistic style. I find inspiration in the elusive quality of light and how it captures its subject. “it’s not what you paint, it’s how you paint” is the simple principle I bring to my work. My paintings have been shown in exhibitions in New York, Connecticut, Florida, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. After graduating from Boston University I continued my studies at The Art Institute of Boston. Relocating to New York, I studied at The School of Visual Arts and SUNY Purchase. Currently Residing in Connecticut with my family, I am a member of the Greenwich Arts Council and the founder of Studio 3B, a community of artist with a focus on giving back to local organizations in need.
